The Zonal Koroyd coverage provides lightweight, energy-absorbing, and ventilated protection, while the Mips Protection System reduces rotational forces. The helmet complies with the U.S. CPSC Safety Standard for Bicycle Helmets for Persons Age 5 and Older, as well as CE EN 1078 and AS/NZS 2063.

The VaporFit dial adjustment system offers 270-degree fit adjustment with the turn of a dial, designed for ultimate integration with Smith performance eyewear for maximum comfort, venting, and storage convenience. The AirEvac ventilation system integrates with Smith goggles and eyewear for fog-free lenses.

The helmet features 15 fixed vents for consistent airflow, an adjustable and removable visor, and an Ionic+ lining that offers sweat-activated odor control. The lightweight, low-bulk single-layer webbing ensures a comfortable fit. The size M, Mips version weighs 10.58 oz / 300 g.
